• Your registration is only valid once you receive a registration acknowledgement from us.

• Some courses have certain prerequisites that need to be fulfilled by the participants. You will be informed of these once registration is complete.

• Note: Online registrations will be accepted until 5 days before the scheduled event. However, until you receive confirmation from the registration staff that your registration has been processed, DO NOT assume you are enrolled in the event.

Readiness

We have a stated goal to 'deliver value through sustainable change'. However, to do this we need to ensure and assure that you have a self motivated desire to attend the event and plan to do something with the learning. To this end it would really help if you could answer the following questions carefully and honestly. Please read the side bar comments for more information on this section.

At WizOz we believe that:

1. People choose to learn - Effective learning is something that people make a choice about (implicit or explicit) and it cannot be simply mandated by an external person or force. Hence successful and sustainable learning is predicated by a persons choice to acquire knowledge.

2. Self-Led people learn - Slaves don't -  People who attend an event without any real purpose or passion can feel like slaves. As such they are more focused on things outside the event (inbox, clients, or work issues) and little learning takes place. In most cases their body might be present - but their head and heart will be elsewhere.

3. Forced training leads to 'Faking It' behaviors - The use of imposed and non-welcome learning can create ?i>faking it?behaviors. Where people (and ultimately organisations) ‘play the game? for just long enough to satisfy 'the system' and then revert to their comfort zones once attention is focused on a new initiative..

4. Purpose and Passion lead to Performance and Payback  - People who have both purpose and passion for an event will create sustainable value for themselves and the sponsoring organisation. People who attend an event without either clear purpose and  motivation can waste their time, disrupt the learning process for others and potentially degrade the overall programme though negative feedback after the event.  

Therefore we  ask delegates to undertake a self-qualification process that helps ensure that the event will add sustainable value for all stakeholders. 

Cancellation details

Cancellations and rescheduling requests for WizOz training must be received in writing by mail, fax, or email 28 days prior to the start of the training program. Because of the limited number of seats available for each event, the full cost of the course will be charged for any course cancellation made less than 28 business days prior to the start of the course. Failure to receive cancellation notices before then will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the training cost. This will include the cost of any accommodation booked for the delegate where WizOz incurs a charge from the hotel.

• Alteration of date - You can switch to a later course date without any extra charge if you notify us at least four weeks before the course you first registered for

• Seat transfer - If you are unable to attend the course, you could make an agreement with WizOz to transfer your seat to a colleague at your company, free of charge.
